White

The Stockton is a two-tone panel: solid white vinyl boards below, black aluminum balusters above.

Smooth solid
  • High contrast by design

White against architectural black is the point of the style, not an accident of two materials.

  • Privacy below, open above

Solid boards do the screening; the balusters keep the top of the fence from reading as a wall.

  • Built for lawns and pools

Catalyst's own framing is securing lawn and pool areas.

  • Freshly painted, forever

Timeless color that looks freshly painted with virtually zero maintenance, in the catalog's words.

  • Rails that stay straight

Catalyst's StayStraight® construction guards the rails against bending and sagging in any weather.

  • Color that holds

SolarGuard® fade resistance keeps the finish from chalking or yellowing in full Carolina sun.

  • Made by Catalyst, installed by us

Catalyst Fence Solutions manufactures the Stockton, and the image above is its product visualization, not a photograph of a Chonko Construction job. We are the installing builder.

The Stockton is offered in one combination.

Height 6 feet.

  • checkPanel widths. 8 feet. Walk gates and drive gates are built to match the panel, and we set post depth and spacing to the height you choose.

Pick the Stockton when you want contemporary contrast without going all metal.

A pool surround

Catalyst names lawn and pool areas. We check the height, the gaps and the gate against the code for your address.

A modern or urban house

The catalog's metro design note: architectural black in an eclectic mixed-material design.

A fence you look at

Two-tone reads as a designed element rather than as a boundary you stop noticing.

  • air

A bolder metal option. Catalyst pairs the Stockton with the sleek aluminum of Raleigh where the run goes further toward metal.

Top rail
Catalyst builds its vinyl fence on ten named top rails: Element Grand, Element LX Premium, Element Limited, Element Reserve, Element Signature, Element Base, Vertex Grand, Vertex Signature, Vertex Base and Apex. Which one your panel carries follows the grade and the panel size, so it is confirmed on the order rather than chosen off a page.

Post caps are a choice, not a default.

Both accent lines. A mixed-material fence can take the vinyl caps (Pyramid, Internal, Gothic, New England, Ball, Neptune, Federation, Contemporary and Solar) or the aluminum ones, depending on which part of the panel the post belongs to.

  • check_circle

The solar cap lights the line. Catalyst's Solar Post Cap puts off-the-grid landscape lighting on the posts, with no wiring to run.

  • check_circle

Pick it with the style. The cap is the part of the fence you see at eye level from the house. We price the caps with the panels, so it is one number rather than a change order later.

For the Stockton, the number moves with linear footage first, then the height you choose (6 ft), the gates, and the ground the posts go into. The full breakdown of what moves a mixed-material fence price is on the mixed-material fence page; we set the exact figure in writing after we walk the property.

Want real numbers? Our mixed material fence cost guide breaks down what a mixed-material fence runs per linear foot in the Midlands, and the all-materials fence cost guide compares it to the other fence types. Whatever your number, it is set in the contract before any post hole is dug.

Warranty and Who Installs It

Two warranties cover a Stockton we install.

Manufacturer warranty

Catalyst backs its fence with a transferable limited lifetime warranty; the warranty document carries the terms.

Named workmanship warranty

Chonko Construction is a licensed home builder, license #52210, and the installation carries our named workmanship warranty.

Installed by Chonko Construction

Licensed South Carolina home builder, SC Residential Builders License #52210. One contract covers the panels, the posts, the gates and the installer.

Mixed-material in the Midlands

Neither part of a mixed-material fence minds the Midlands.

  • Humidity. The aluminum does not rust and the vinyl does not rot.
  • Sun. Powder coat on the frame, UV-stabilized vinyl in the infill.
  • Wind. The framed panels carry storm wind well, and the posts are set in concrete to hold the run.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the black aluminum need repainting?add

No. It is powder coated, which is baked on rather than brushed on, so it does not chip or peel the way paint does.

Is the Stockton pool code compliant?add

Catalyst markets it for pool areas. Pool barrier code turns on height, gaps and gate hardware, so we check the code for your address and specify a height and gate that meet it before anything is ordered.

Can I get it in a color other than white?add

White with black balusters is the one combination Catalyst offers in this style.

What is a two tone privacy fence?add

The Stockton is a two-tone panel: solid white vinyl boards below, black aluminum balusters above. The Stockton is Catalyst Fence Solutions' version of it, and Chonko Construction installs it across Columbia and the Midlands under one written contract.

What heights does the Stockton come in?add

6 ft. We match the height to the job: privacy and pool code want the taller end, a front-yard boundary usually wants the shorter.

Can the Stockton be installed on a slope?add

Yes. On a grade we rack or step the panels so the fence follows the slope and stays level, and we show you which approach fits before any post is set.
